The project comprises of commercial building namely NMB Bank. The building is mainly for bank activities and all bank services. The bank building includes also the ATM fit out and the guard house.
PROJECT PURPOSE
Project main activities
Project main activities divided into five parts which are;
- Sub-structure activities;
Including Foundation works for new walls at the guard house
- Super-structure activities;
All construction activities from the ground floor to the roof floor including formworks, reinforcement works and concreting.
- Service works;
These involves all Electrical works and Plumbing installation works at the main building and guard house
- Finishing works;
Including plastering and painting to all areas approved by the consultant and in accordance with the bills of quantity
CHALLENGES AND RECOMMENDATIONS
- Inclement weather condition (heavy rainfall). The weather condition was not friendly to some of the works especially finishing works such as plastering and painting.
- Electrical problems due to lightning and thunder
